Photo Page - Lazy Loading

Due to the high volume of pictures on my photo page, it unfortunately caused the page load time to take up to 2 seconds on mobile devices. To address this issue, I was able to incorporate lazy loading of the images to defer the load time. With my case, I used this JavaScript code from Robin Osborne.

Incorporating the code was simple with calling the function in the class of a figure
<figure class="effect-oscar wowload fadeInUp lazy">

The only thing left to do is compress and resize the photographs from the original size.

With the next completion of the photo page, it was time to setup a navigation system for the website and move towards a multi-paged website. After some quick searching, I found the w3schools had a neat demo page, and I was able to easily incorporate a navigation menu.

After an ominous email from Google, it was mentioned as of January 2017, Chrome (Version 56 or later) will mark pages that collect password as "Not Secure" unless served over HTTPS. After speaking to a friend about this, he mentioned OpenSSL. After checking out the documentation and installing the software, I was able to generate the certificates and used Apache to enforce HTTPS
